Whistler has a variety of over 100 trails to choose from. This is where you'll find some of the best extreme terrain on the Peak Chair and a great beginners area at the midstation of the Village Gondola.
Whistler is slightly bigger then Blackcomb in area for skiing or snowboarding (4,757 acres compared to 3,414 acres). There are 16 lifts, including 8 high speed and 8 mountain restaurants. |

Blackcomb offers a great mix for everyone. It's home to the ski and snowboard Terrain Park, the Superpipe and lots of great alpine terrain. On a sunny day 7th Heaven is the best choice for great skiing and snowboarding as it faces south.
Blackcomb features 17 lifts, 7 of which are high speed and 9 restaurants. Blackcomb is also open much longer then Whistler as Horstman Glacier remains open until August for summer skiing and snowboarding. |
