If Skiing, Snowboarding, Backcountry Ski Touring, Mountain Biking or Rock Climbing aren't for you, or if you just want to try something else, Whistler has a wide range of activities to keep you entertained.
Sightseeing
You can take the Gondola up Whistler Mountain to get some amazing views of the nearby mountains and valley below. The Gondola is open nearly all year, with only a month or so of closure in October and early November. There are plenty of hiking trails at the top that are open in the summer after the snow melts.
On land
Enjoy a round of golf at one of the world class golf course in Whistler. For a bit more adventure try a 4wd safari, a wilderness tour or horseback riding. Take a walk along the Valley Trail and enjoy the beautiful views or go for a longer hike up into the Garibaldi Park or one of the other great hikes in the area.
In the air
If you are brave try a thrilling sky dive from 15000 feet over beautiful Whistler or tandem paragliding. Helicopters are used for pretty much everything in Whistler, include skiing, snowboarding, mountain biking, fishing and hiking. Enjoy the beautiful scenery on a scenic flight over Garibaldi Park and Howe Sound.
On the water
Spend a relaxing day on a out on the water, fly-fishing or fish off a charter boat. Get some excersie and enjoy the scenery by kayaking or canoeing on one of the lakes in the area. The more adventurous can try river rafting, jet boating, kite surfing, wakeboarding, waterskiing or wind surfing.
